As a strategic, creative yet detail-oriented marketing communications leader, Luana is passionate about weaving purpose and business strategy together to cultivate beloved brands. At the heart of these brands are programs with stories, which she expertly shapes to transcend audiences and spark meaningful connections, action and results.
Luana’s nearly 20-year career includes in-house and agency roles in corporate communications; content and corporate marketing; internal communications; product PR and media relations, for some of the most well-known names spanning a variety of industries from food to technology.
Her diverse experience representing complex, global brands at critical inflection points has shaped Luana’s holistic view of brand-building and the power of aligning leaders, strategies and messages, across internal and external audiences. Whether she’s leading public offering or merger & acquisition communications; shaping a thought-leadership platform; writing branded marketing content; building crisis preparedness programs; launching a corporate re-brand, narrative or mission; developing a CSR marketing communications strategy; overseeing digital content strategy or helping tell an investor relations story through an annual report, Luana delivers with excellence, across all audiences, when the stakes are high.
Luana holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and French from the University of Oregon and lives in Denver with her husband, Chris, and rescue dog, Pepper. She loves playing in the mountains, running, practicing yoga, cooking with Chris, enjoying Denver’s vibrant restaurant and music scenes, and traveling to faraway lands with fork, knife and corkscrew in-hand.
Kim has more than 16 years of corporate and employee communications experience derived primarily from global consumer packaged goods companies. She’s held roles in various industries, including food and beverage, industrial engineering, steel manufacturing and non-profit.
As a creative, results-oriented and passionate employee communications leader and content strategist, Kim loves the challenge of connecting employees with leaders and business strategies to build engaged workplace cultures in a fast-paced world.
Drawing on her experience as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, Kim is adept at building and executing high-quality change, internal and executive communications strategies to support broader business goals and increase corporate brand ambassadorship. Kim’s highly effective in creating and implementing storytelling programs to reach differentiated audiences, including manufacturing and cross-location employees, and middle managers.
Kim also has a proven track record of overseeing large-scale business transformation communications; retooling digital channels and content to meet the changing needs of modern-day leaders and employees; and helping to uphold corporate reputations in times of crisis in or affecting the workplace.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Kim graduated from Marquette University with a BA in Communications & Marketing. When she’s not helping others communicate at work, Kim and her husband Andy are busy communicating – rather, negotiating – with their son Charlie (7) and daughter Marlowe (4) about which playground to visit. She also enjoys camping, cooking, volunteering, playing board games and traveling.
